Will ESE 2022 be postponed?
Every year in the last week of September, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the IES 2022 Notification. The UPSE IES 2022 Notification will be released on September 22nd, 2021. Candidates of Indian nationality between the ages of 21 and 30 are eligible to apply for the UPSC ESE 2022 test. There is currently no information available regarding ESE 2022 Postponed. The ESE/IES 2022 Prelims will take place on July 18, 2022, as planned (Sunday). This article will go through the ESE/IES 2022 Exam dates, eligibility, and more.

IES 2022 Vacancy
This year, UPSC will hold the ESE 2022 Exam to fill 247 posts, including 07 slots for people with physical disabilities (PwBD). We understand that few jobs are available this year, but if you want to be an IES, the number of vacancies doesn’t matter.

IES 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: The IES/ESE 2022 Application Form is only open to Indian citizens. Candidates with sufficient proof of Indian nationality from adjacent nations are also eligible.
Age Limit: On January 1, 2022, a candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 30. They must have been born between the 2nd of January 1992 and the 1st of January 2001.
Education Qualification: Candidate must hold an Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognised university or other educational institutes. Additionally, current final-year students are eligible to take the IES 2022 Exam.
UPSC ESE 2022 Application Form
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can begin filling out the IES/ESE Online Application Form on July 7, 2022. To fill out the UPSC IES 2022 Application Form, the candidate needs to go to the UPSC website. Candidates must fill out two portions of the UPSC ESE application form: part 1 and part 2. Before hitting the submit button, candidates should pay the application fee after filling out all of the essential information.
- Go to UPSConline.nic.in, which is the UPSC website.
- Then, for the UPSC exam, click on the “online recruitment form.”
- A new page will open; now, in the Engineering Services (Preliminary / Stage I) Examination column, click on “click here for part 1.”
- A new tab/page will open, with the instructions for filling out the form.
- Now you must carefully read the instructions before selecting “YES.”
- A new tab will open, where you must fill up all of the information, including uploading your papers. As a result, upload all of the documents.
- Now click “SUBMIT” and repeat the process for the second half of the registration.
- Now it’s time to pay the registration fees.

IES/ESE 2022 Admit Card
The Admit Card is issued separately for the IES Prelims and Mains examinations by the Union Public Service Commission. These admit cards will be distributed three weeks before the test. The ESE Prelims Admit Card will be released in the first week of July 2022, while the IES 2022 Mains Admit Card will be released in the third week of September 2022.

On the day of the exam, the majority of the top IES Coaching schools provide the IES 2022 Prelims Answer key. You can download the answer key in PDF format. UPSC will release the official ESE Prelims Answer Key six months after the exam is completed.
IES 2022 Result
The preliminary examination results for UPSC ESE 2022 will be released in August 2022. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) publishes a PDF version of the list of selected candidates. As a result, the candidate must check their roll number on a pdf page. In December 2022, the results of the Mains Exam will be revealed individually.

Is IES more difficult than GATE?
Both tests are more complicated at their respective levels. However, the IES exam has a far higher degree of competition than the GATE exam.
Is it possible for me to take the IES exam in my third year?
Candidates in their third year are not qualified to take the ESE/IES exam. Eligibility to take the IES Exam: 1) You must have earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics) 2) Students in their final year are also eligible to take the ESE/IES Exam.
