Tajinder Singh Tiwana is an Indian politician who was born on September 1, 1985. He is the President of the Mumbai branch of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. To promote Swadeshi items, he founded the Vocal For Local Initiative, a protest against Chinese products.
Tajinder has been active in social service since he was a child.
In Mumbai, he was also crucial in launching and implementing a number of successful programmes
promoting communal harmony and national integration.
He entered politics with the intention of serving the people. He believes in a leadership style in which
the “Leader knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way,
” therefore he takes the initiative and maintains positive relationships with all of his team members.
On Sunday, Tajinder Singh Tiwana, the 35-year-old Mumbai division president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, was reappointed to the position.
The BJYM’s Mumbai division has been overtly proactive over the last two months,
holding multiple protests and awareness marches against Mumbai’s alleged drug problem, as well as for women’s safety and security.
On Monday, Tiwana spoke to mid-day over the phone from New Delhi about his purpose and vision,
which will be to focus on bridging the gap between people and municipal councillors.
BJYM’s newly re-elected president, Tajinder Singh Tiwana says he wants to work on mending the divide between people and local councillors.
“As corruption is spreading in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and
the other numerous problems it causes the general public which rangesfrom tree cutting to pothole-ridden roads,
we have formed a team of 24 people, one for each ward.”
“They’ll work with the BMC to address the issues that residents in their region are having,” he said.
Basically, we’ll be acting as counsellors, but in our own distinctive BJYM manner.
We’ll ask them (BMC) respectfully at first to rectify the issues,
but if they don’t, we’ll stage enormous rallies across Mumbai to force them to do the job,” he added.
He claimed they would “effectively use the strength of our members on social media” by making accounts for each member
and “teaching BJYM members to act, react, and interact” on social media posts, pointing out that there are presently over 2,70,000 BJYM members around the city.

There are also plans to start a Telegram channel. He emphasised that addressing the city’s drug problem was a top goal for the BJYM.
“This issue is quite critical and serious. Mumbai’s educated youth should not fall into the drug mafia’s trap,” he said.
Under Tajinder Singh Tiwana BJP leadership, the BJYM’s Mumbai Students’ Cell is likely to play a bigger role. The BJYM intends to form a 10-person team at each campus in Mumbai,
which will be part of a specialised student cell whose members will “act as influencers to promote the philosophy” and bring new members to the BJYM cadre.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Mumbai has started the following public welfare projects.
They’ve assigned 263 volunteers to 36 Mumbai Assemblies to ensure collaboration with the MCGM’s Health Department, local police stations, and hospitals that handle COVID-19 patients.
Food is supplied to BMC staff, police officers, stranded labourers, hospital staff, homeless people, and others via Community Kitchens set up in each of the six districts.
Tajinder Singh Tiwana, who previously served as the Mumbai General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, has been named President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.
His ‘Service to People First’ mindset has gained him the position of President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Mumbai (BJYM).
“It is an honour for me to be named President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Mumbai (BJYM).
I commit to listen to the concerns of the people and to genuinely represent them, to speak out and say what has to be spoken rather than what the audience wants to hear”, Tajinder Singh BJP stated.
Tajinder Singh Tiwana possesses a rare blend of charisma and honesty.
He can appraise a situation and make a choice based on what is best for the persons involved.
From a young age, he has worked tirelessly under the leadership of Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to resolve many BMC-related issues
and has been instrumental in developing programmes for Communal Harmony and National Integration, furthering the family’s legacy of serving humanity.
Both of his parents have served on the Malad Municipal Council,
and his mother has also chaired the P/North Municipal Office for two terms.
His upbringing has shaped him into a vibrant adolescent who solves ward-related issues and walks shoulder to shoulder with his parents.
His belief in cultivating a multilingual and pan-cultural presence in an open environment has helped him pull off the Malad Festival,
an initiative through which he has not only introduced a new vertex for people to enjoy and entertain themselves,
but also created an approachable art platform where various multifaceted individuals can showcase their talent in front of the masses and gain the recognition they deserve.
After gaining a thorough understanding of the grave requirements of the people in his neighbourhood,
Tajinder Singh devotes his efforts to resolving the obstacles that make it impossible for individuals to earn a living.
He is noted for working tirelessly around the clock to improve their lives and well-being over time.
