Mist disinfection system for livestock farming
Due to intensive breeding, animals have more opportunities to contact each other, so the spread of pathogenic microorganisms will be faster. The high-pressure misting disinfection system of farms is based on the principle of high-pressure mist generation. The water is pressurized by the water pump in the main machine and then flows through the tube and mists 10-20um mist particles from the nozzle.
Many farmers gradually recognized the role of the mist disinfection system in animal husbandry. The fog machine can mist a variety of disinfectants, fungicides, deodorants, and mist water to increase the air humidity and adjust the environmental temperature.
Advantages of the misting system:
- The high degree of equipment automation, using a combination of manual and automatic control.
- Regularly switch and off the machine, use water automatically, realize no artificial intelligence, and significantly save labor costs.
- There are good mist effects, the nozzle adopts micron level, and the fog particles are small. It will not wet the animals, flow with the air, absorb the heat in the air and evaporate.
- The significant cooling effect can reduce the temperature by 6-15℃ within 15 minutes.
- Complete disinfection. The mist will fill the entire enclosure quickly so that there is no dead space for disinfection.
- Control system in the machine, open and close the misting system according to your needs, fully automatic control, convenience, efficiency, and energy-saving.
Precautions when you use the misting system:
-
cold stress
Misting disinfection can increase the humidity in the poultry house. The water evaporation can take away a lot of heat, easy to reduce the temperature in the poultry house in a short period and cause cold stress.
(1) Apply vitamin C or multi-dimensional treatment to poultry before misting.
(2) Increase temperature appropriately before misting (2~3℃ compared to conventional temperature)
-
The selection of disinfectant type
They are misting disinfection as far as possible to choose efficient, safe, small stimulating disinfectants, such as quaternary ammonium disinfectants, iodine preparations, chlorine preparations, potassium hydrogen persulfate complex, and other disinfectants. The choice of disinfectant should also consider the daily age of poultry flocks, disinfection environment, the epidemic characteristics of infectious diseases, and different targeted selections of the corresponding disinfectant to achieve a better disinfection effect.
-
Misting time
Misting time as far as possible to choose the higher temperature at noon, while reducing the light brightness, prevent excessively frightened caused to stress.
- Dilution of the disinfectant
The dilution ratio of disinfectant refers to the manufacturer’s suggestion, dilute water best choose tap water or well water, fewer impurities, less impact on disinfectant, winter temperature is low, choose warm water when diluting disinfectant (30℃), on the one hand, can improve disinfectant disinfection effect, on the other hand, can also prevent birds from cold stimulation.
-
Misting particle size control
When misting disinfection, the size of fog droplets is controlled between 10 and 20um, and the minimum should not be less than 10um to prevent respiratory problems caused by too tiny fog droplets.
- Do not do Misting disinfection before and after vaccine immunization. Vaccine immunity, especially bacterial vaccine immunity, can not be done with misting disinfection for three days before and after the vaccine not to affect the immune effect, but also to avoid the double stress brought by immunity and misting disinfection.
- Disinfection operation
Clean the fog machine and bucket. Ventilate as soon as possible after misting to allow moisture to evaporate as quickly as possible. After disinfection, clean the misting equipment thoroughly and don’t let the disinfectant remain in the misting equipment.
